To our Friends, Neighbors, and Clients,
The second quarter of the year is always a busy time for all members of our Shorewest team. From agents to support staff, not only are we helping you navigate the world of real estate, but as the warmer spring and summer seasons continue, we are out participating in our local communities at some of our highly anticipated annual events.
Our agents have proudly been representing Shorewest at the Kwik Trip Tour of America’s Dairyland, local July 4th festivities and many other local (and iconic) community happenings. We are incredibly proud of our team for remaining so active in their communities throughout their busy season and love to see the impact that Shorewest as a team and our agents as individuals have on those around them.
This June, Shorewest sponsored a truly exciting event for the second year in a row, Children’s Fest Day at Summerfest! Our team looks forward to this day and we were honored to be presented with the opportunity to take the lead on this event again. As in the past, we welcomed Summerfest attendees of all ages with free admission from 12 to 3pm on the first Friday of Summerfest, and hosted events, games and prizes for kids. This year, we were proud to be joined by Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity once again, as well as the Little Warrior Foundation, a local charity that is focused on finding a cure for Ewing Sarcoma – an aggressive bone cancer in children and adults. We are grateful to everyone who came out and helped to make this event a success.
In other real estate news, you may be hearing about changes coming to real estate and we want to take a moment to inform you of what’s going on. Beginning August 15th, across the country, there are two changes taking place to the way we practice real estate. The first is that when a buyer wants to tour a home with a real estate agent, they need to have a written agreement with their agent before touring. The second change relates to commission options for buyers and sellers. We encourage people to contact one of our Shorewest associates for a consultation on the best option for their situation. If you are interested in learning more, you can visit our FAQ page here that goes into more detail.
At Shorewest, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our clients who have entrusted us with one of their most significant financial decisions, especially as we reach the halfway point of 2024. Our clients are the cornerstone of our work, and serving them is our greatest privilege. Your unwavering support allows us to expand our services and reach new communities across the state, maintaining the high standards we are known for. It is an honor to guide individuals through their real estate journeys, and we eagerly anticipate serving both new and returning clients through the remainder of the year. Whether you’re buying, selling, or considering a career change, Shorewest is here to assist you every step of the way.
